Sunday Worship

Saint Mark's

Traditional Worship

We have two traditional services at 8:20 and 10:45 AM in our Worship Sanctuary. Worship first, is an opportunity for God’s grace to be received and shared and where all are welcome. We gather to encounter God’s transforming grace and presence through prayer, creeds, scripture, the spoken word from Pastor Jon Kaufman, and music so that we can go into the world and love in the name of Jesus.

We include singing with the congregation, a choir, and special music from handbells. Music has a way of connecting our spirit to God’s spirit, so we include a variety of styles in worship. We enjoy a wide range of music from familiar classic hymns to modern songs all accompanied by a piano, organ and sometimes a flute or drums.

At St. Mark’s, we invite all to come as we are because God meets us there. You will see a wide variety of clothing being worn on Sunday mornings! Some may be in their favorite T-shirt and jeans, while others will be in their “Sunday Best.” You are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable!

Worship also includes a children’s church, nursery, hearing assist devices, and Holy Communion on first Sundays of the month where all are welcome to receive. Communion is also served after our 8:20 service on all other Sundays.

11th Hour

11th Hour is our contemporary worship service at St. Mark’s UMC. We meet every Sunday morning in the Christian Life Center, at 10:45 AM. We are a community of believers that seeks to create a family-friendly service in a more laid-back setting.

We seek to create a community open to all, where they can come and experience the transforming love and grace of Jesus Christ, as we strive to connect with God and one another, regardless of where you are on your faith journey.

Each week, we are blessed with a sermon from Rev. Ryan McGough and led in worship by our amazing praise team, which is made up of wonderful volunteers (If you are interested in joining them, please get in touch with Rev. Ryan).

Overall, this is a community of believers that gathers each week to grow in community with one another and to deepen their relationships with others, so that they can go out and share the love of Christ in God’s creation.
