Who We Are

At Saint Mark’s United Methodist Church, our vision is rooted in who we and others are, and in sharing the love and grace of Christ with all we encounter: we are authentically imperfect Christ followers uniting all who seek grace and belonging. This vision reminds us that we are first and foremost people who follow Jesus—learning from His example of love, compassion, grace, mercy, and service. We know that none of us is perfect, and we don’t try to pretend otherwise. Instead, we celebrate the truth that God meets us right where we are, loves us deeply, and invites us to keep growing in faith. At the heart of that growth is grace—God’s free and transforming gift of love and forgiveness that we can never earn but gladly receive. Because of this grace, we live as a community of belonging where everyone is welcomed, valued, and seen as a child of God. And with love as our guide, we seek to unite people across differences, building bridges instead of walls and becoming a family of faith that reflects the inclusive love of Christ.

Together, these pillars shape the heartbeat of Saint Mark’s: a place where imperfect people find grace, discover belonging, and live out the love of Jesus in real and everyday ways.
